Cityworks Design provided design and editorial support in crafting Metro’s first Measure M Comprehensive Assessment Report that analyzed the first five years (2017-2022) of this landmark ballot measure and its impacts on the quality of life and equity, for LA County residents. Passed by a majority of voters in 2016, Measure M inaugurated a half-cent sales tax to reinvest in local infrastructure and transportation systems. Improvement goals included expanding the rail and rapid transit system, improving freeway traffic flow, repaving local streets, keeping the highway system safe, making public transportation more accessible, convenient and affordable, embracing technology and innovation, creating jobs while reducing pollution and generating local economic benefits, and providing transparency through independent audits and oversight.
